What do I need to get this on my store?

A Safaricom Paybill or Till number that's set up to take online payments, and a WhatsApp Business account for the order alerts. I help with the setup.

Is an order confirmed before the customer pays?

No. The order is only marked paid, and the WhatsApp alert only goes out, after Safaricom confirms the payment.

How much does it cost?

Added to a website you already have, M-Pesa checkout starts at KSh 20,000 and WhatsApp order alerts at KSh 12,000, plus Safaricom and Meta fees at cost. Both are included in a new e-commerce build.
